What is EBPH: Program Planning and Evaluation about?


The Program Planning and Evaluation course provides training in developing and evaluating evidence-based public health programs. During this course, you will learn the steps of the planning process. You will also be exposed to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) evaluation framework, which you can use to develop your own logic model for a public health program.

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Discuss the major themes in evidence-based public health.
  • Decribe when and why you should use the evidence-based approach.
  • Explain the major phases of the evidence-based approach.
