A practicum is a 3-6 credit experience in an exercise science and health setting. In the setting, or site, students will spend 100-300 hours observing and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the facility/organization and applying course work through experiential and practical work|
|Specify the criteria for assessment of learning results and work performances.||The Student Intern serves in several different capacities within the Palmetto Health USC Orthopedics in the specific area of interest. At Palmetto Health/USC Medical Group, students will interact with patients, physicians, staff and administration. Responsibilities will be determined by setting. Clinical track responsibilities include but not limited to, assisting with physicians, staff and patients, maintaining clinic flow, and contribute to the group dynamic of the staff.|

|Job Duty 1||Assists the team members with carrying out patient care.|
|Job Duty 2||Helps to maintain a neat, clean clinic by wiping down (with clinic approved disinfectant) treatment/exam tables, and other equipment used for patient care.|
