Graduate Assistantships

The graduate assistantship is a paid opportunity for students that may include additional financial support for tuition. Graduate Assistants (GA) work in University offices, on faculty projects, or with agency practice programs. These positions may be located on or off campus. To hold a graduate assistantship, a student must be in a degree program, in good standing, and registered for at least six graduate credits during a major semester.

Read the Graduate School policy on graduate assistantships for more information. International students should see the office of International Student Services for guidance on paperwork requirements for paid opportunities.
