Internships help students explore career interests and provide hands-on experience in a professional setting. They help build student resumes, reinforce what they’ve learned in class, and can sometimes lead to full-time employment. The Office of Practice and Community Engagement works with on-campus centers and public health organizations to identify valuable volunteer and internship opportunities. Please visit the MySPH Opportunity Manager and the MySPH News section to review the current opportunities being advertised.

Service Opportunities

Some programs require students to complete some type of community service or will allow students to do an independent study. For more information, see the Arnold School Student Services and University Community Service Programs.

In addition, volunteer opportunities may be posted and applied for through the MySPH Opportunity Manager
