Specify the experiences to be undertaken (including strategy, methods, resources, settings). | Under the general supervision of the Lead Advocate of Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention & Prevention (SAVIP), the incumbent will be responsible for interpersonal violence advocacy and planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive interpersonal violence prevention programs for the University community. |

Describe in detail any special conditions, arrangements, or restrictions. | Skill Requirements: • Ability to maintain confidentiality in working with and advocating for clients • Ability to serve in an on call capacity which includes being available to respond to crisis calls and calls that require hospital, residence life, and law enforcement agency response after hours (see hours above) • Interest in and awareness of interpersonal violence issues; knowledge of intersectionality, feminist and social justice theories preferred • Strong interpersonal, programming, public speaking, and organizational skills • Ability to work with diverse populations • Ability to mentor, lead, and inspire college-aged young adults and/or faculty/staff • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with team members • Effective oral and written communication skills • Professionalism and attention to detail • Intermediate knowledge of basic Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Ability to work without constant supervision |
Give time sequence for achieving the desired results and how progress will be monitored. | This position requires occasional evening and weekend work to include responding to calls after hours and facilitating presentations and workshops to student groups. |
