|Specify the experiences to be undertaken (including strategy, methods, resources, settings).||We are conducting a nutrition intervention study at UofSC. You can read more about it at www.DG3D.org. We are looking for students to assist in the Discovery teaching kitchen on Monday and/or Tuesday evenings. Monday would be from 3-8:30pm and Tuesday would be from 3-7pm. Hours and times are flexible based on the student's schedule. Tasks include chopping and preparing ingredients for cooking demonstrations and helping to set up the class and clean up afterwards. Opportunities to continue into the fall.|
|Specify the criteria for assessment of learning results and work performances.||Kitchen Assistants should have some basic cooking skills or willingness to learn. Interest in nutrition and healthy life style changes is a plus.|

|Job Duty 1||Kitchen Assistants will be involved in preparing ingredients (chopping vegetables, measuring out spices, cooking grains, etc.). Students will also set out water and cups for participants, help to set up the projector and screen, and help to sanitize tables in between classes. Students will also help wash dishes at the end of class.|
