All practica should be based on 2 – 5 objectives linked to the student’s academic program competencies. The preceptor and the student should meet, construct and discuss objectives at the beginning of the practicum. Specify the experiences to be undertaken (including strategy, methods, resources, settings). | Students will be integrated into different athletic training settings within the athletic department at the University of South Carolina. Students will be supervised and assist in providing healthcare for UofSC athletes. This practicum is looking for students interested in a career in AT. |

Give time sequence for achieving the desired results and how progress will be monitored. | Each USC Sport will provide different experiences,. This is an opportunity to work with a Division 1 SEC sports medicine program. |
What are the specific deliverables associated with this opportunity (e.g. a needs assessment, a policy analysis, production of public health brochures and handouts)? | Students will be mentored on the ATCAS application and requirements for attending AT school. Hopefully the experience will help students figure out what setting in sports medicine they would like to work with. |
